REAL Oshkosh Community Conversation

This conversation will continue our community action dialogue around racial justice issues in the OASD. It is intended for parents of Black and brown students in Oshkosh’s public schools and to advocate for urgent action. We plan to use our March meeting to share food together and build community, relationships, and trust with one another.

This conversation is for parents of Black and brown students in Oshkosh’s public schools and for those who want to learn more about the racial crisis in our schools and to advocate for urgent action.
Building off our January gathering, this conversation will focus on priorities and strategies for advocacy and next steps for collective action.

This conversation is for parents of Black and brown students in Oshkosh’s public schools and for those who want to learn more about the racial crisis in our schools and to advocate for urgent action.
The gathering will include a brief presentation about the current state of Black and brown students in Oshkosh’s public schools, followed by parents sharing some of the experiences of their kids in the schools. Then, priorities for advocacy will be proposed, and the group will discuss next steps for collective action.
